About Us

‘Pins and Ribbons’ is an award-winning, eco-friendly, home accessories company.  Its aim is to help people put the heart into their homes.

Based in Eaglescliffe, near Yarm, in the North East of England, Pins and Ribbons was ‘officially’ launched in 2006.  Since the introduction of its website in 2007 the company has gone from strength to strength.

Selling to retailers and to the general public, this small company, has already built a loyal customer base.

Pins and Ribbons takes a leaf from William Morris who said that you should ‘have nothing in your house that you do not know to be useful, or believe to be beautiful.’ That is why all of the company’s products combine style, prettiness and the utmost practicality.

With a huge collection of items to choose from, Pins and Ribbons provides a useful product to suit every household need, including French memo boards, fabric door stops, peg bags, cushions, bunting, wall hangings and much, much more.  The company’s latest products include tea cosies, bags, draught excluders and footstools.

Each of Pins and Ribbons products is handmade using a choice of stunning fabrics in traditional and contemporary designs. As well as floral, striped, checked and dotted fabrics, items are also handcrafted in children’s favourites and more masculine materials.

The company’s attention to detail, coupled with its good old fashioned customer values, has brought recognition from individuals and retail traders up and down the country.

What makes the company stand out from the crowd is that, as well as providing great value for money, unlike similar products which are outsourced abroad, everything produced by Pins and Ribbons is made in England.

The company’s eco-friendly approach also means that it has a policy on recycling everything from packaging to scrap materials.
