For 34 year old Kerrie Murray, owner of Pins and Ribbons, business isn’t just about getting the job done. Born and brought up in the North East of England, Kerrie’s passion for high quality home design and stunning fabrics has resulted in individual, hand-crafted products, honed through a love of sewing.

What started off as the challenge of creating the perfect home for her young family has turned Kerrie’s hobby into a hugely successful business. Leaving a successful career as a qualified Police Inspector in North Yorkshire Police Kerrie has never looked back. Frustrated with the mass produced, imported home furnishings being offered by other companies, Kerrie wanted to give people a true taste of the quality and range of products that were made from start to finish in the UK.  Encouraged by friends and family, who were quick to see the potential in Kerrie’s designs, ‘Pins and Ribbons’ was officially launched in 2006.

Based in Eaglescliffe, near Yarm, in the North East of England Pins and Ribbons has gone from strength to strength. The company now employs a small team of highly skilled workers from the surrounding area who share in Kerrie’s vision, attention to detail and creative enthusiasm.

Selling to retailers and to the general public, Pins and Ribbons has a loyal base of customers who have bought into Kerrie’s passion for beautiful handcrafted home accessories.
